The Jun family had non-stop action catching jumbo scup. After the trip on the way home, everyone enjoyed some fresh sashimi. Hope to see them out here again.

We had John Guzzo and his friends out for an  afternoon of bass fishing. The guys had some that were too big, some too small and some that fit the slot. We had non-stop action.

The ocean was a little rough for James Yoo and his family this afternoon. We switched gears and stayed inshore for great sea bass and porgy fishing.

First-timers Uffe, Chris, Matt and Nicky sailed with us this afternoon. We couldn't have asked for better weather or conditions. Flood tide all afternoon and the fish chewed.  Didn't have any oversized fish on this trip, which was welcomed. Tired of throwing them back! The boys took just enough striped bass and bluefish for tonight's dinner. It was really great having them out and hope we'll see them again next summer.

We had another outstanding trip with Russell and gang, helping to celebrate Jason's high school graduation. Today's trip made up for the missed grad ceremony!  The guys boated striped bass up to around 40 lbs, releasing the biggest and keeping only their three slot fish. With an easy limit of striped bass on the boat, we spent the last part of the trip fluking. Not tons of fish, but decent action with some more meat going in the box. Another successful trip with this trio! Until next June!  

Had a blast today with Peter, Jeff and the Wagenhauser family. This is Peter & Jeff's first of three trips with us this season, but the first ever with the full family. We fished the Flood tide and saw great action with the striped bass. Had a mix of small, too big, and just the right size fish, sending the gang home with the usual package of bass and bluefish fillets. Weather was beautiful. Conditions were perfect. All around a great afternoon. Looking forward to our next trip later this summer.

We had the pleasure of fishing with Nancy and her son and son's friend this morning, for the Ebb tide. We started the trip trolling and saw some good action pretty quickly, with bass up to 41". When the trolling slowed down, we took the jigs out and the kids caught a mix of striped bass, bluefish and scup. Always great having kids on the boat with us. Love seeing them get in on the action. 

We had the pleasure of fishing with Mike and his friends on Sunday. We jigged and trolled for striped bass and bluefish all morning, during the Flood tide. The action was OK, but not what we were hoping for. Decided to switch over and do some fluking in the afternoon and the boys did a great job of keeping the rods bent. Lots of shorts in the mix, but quality fish as well.  Awesome day on the water!
