After an initial postponement last month, we had the pleasure of fishing with Jennifer and her family this afternoon. We took the group of 4 bottom fishing and although it was a slow start, we ended up sending them the group home with a nice catch of sea bass — dinner for them and some friends. Good luck to the kids for this school year and we’ll look forward to having them out again next summer!

We enjoyed a great morning with Judy and her family and friends. The gang caught a basket of sea bass for lunch. We had to pick through a lot of shorts, but they waited patiently and found some quality fish. Hope we’ll see these first-timers again!

September 5, 2020 (Full Day)

Avish and 12 of his buddies spent the day with us celebrating his bachelor party and loading the boat with fish. We spent the first few hours catching striped bass and bluefish. Not a ton of slot fish, but great action bending the rod and they managed some meat for the box. The second half of the day was for bottom fishing and that paid off handsomely with over 50 sea bass, along with a few scup. Couldn’t have had better fishing! Congrats to him and hope we’ll get them out again.

We had a great day with Tim and his buddies to kick off the Labor Day Weekend. The guys kept the rods bent starting with striped bass and bluefish. By mid morning, we decided to try our luck bottom fishing, which paid off nicely with a limit of more then 40 sea bass and some scup. Couldn’t have asked for a nice day or better fishing!

The fog cleared and it was a great day on the water for Chris and the boys. We trolled for a little catching big angry bluefish, and some bass that weren’t slot size. Then the boys had a blast catching a limit of jumbo sea bass. Plenty of filets to go around for everyone.

September 1, 2020

We had Tom and boys out for the first time today. They had a good trip catching bass, sea bass and even had a fluke to round out the day. A little bit of everything.

August 31, 2020

We had April and her family out for their second trip of the season. They caught five perfect sized slots, and released at least another five that were too big. We also had a limit of sea bass, looking forward to seeing these guys next month for their offshore trip.
