Rosanne had her family out this afternoon for some Montauk fishing. We had some nice bass, but none in the slot size. They wanted to try for sea bass, we had our limit in no time.

It was a beautiful morning for Valerie and her family. We kept three slot sized bass, as well as tossing a few oversized fish back. Sunny skies and hungry fish, nothing better.

Vinny, Donato and gang spent the day with us fishing for striped bass and sea bass. The striped bass bite was phenomenal. We kept a few slot fish and released a number of 40+ lb slobs. A few passes with the umbrella rigs landed 2 fish at a shot. At slack, we decided to switch over to bottom fishing and the action was again impressive. The crew boxed their limit of jumbo sea bass before calling it quits and heading back to the dock. Despite the nasty and wet fog, we couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Bill, Reggie and crew spent the day with us today. We started out with pretty decent striped bass action. Tons of big fish that had to be thrown back, but still fun to catch Switched over to bottom fishing at slack, which produced about 20 jumbo sea bass along with a dozen or so scup. Great day, as always, with these guys.

July 17, 2020 (Twilight)

We had a great trip this evening, thanks to Hooks for Heroes. Spent the twilight trip with some of our nation’s veterans and first responders. The bottom fishing didn’t disappoint and the guys went home with bags of sea bass. Always a great time on these trips and we look forward to doing it again next summer.

We had Pete and the boys out for their second trip of the season. The guys iced up five slot size bass and released the others. Then we went bottom fishing and caught our limit with ease. Looking forward to seeing them again in the fall.

Mark and the family were all smiles this afternoon. They worked hard and put three nice slot size bass in the box. Well done!

We had some first timers on the boat this morning. April and her family had great time catching three slot size bass and releasing the rest. Good family fun.
