Mark, John and the kids had a slam dunk day on the tog grounds. Limiting out with 28 togs and a few more that were released, as well as a dozen sea bass and a cod. Once the wind let up, conditions were perfect. We’ll see them again next year for striped bass, sharks and more togs.

November 7, 2021 (Full Day)

John Ramashko’s 4th trip of the season was another great one. The fish weren’t as fast and furious as yesterday, but the guys still managed a great catch of blackfish, sea bass, cod and scup. It was such a pleasure fishing with John and crew this season and I hope we can make it happen again next year.

November 6, 2021 (Full Day)

Another awesome day of fishing in the books for Joe Aviles and crew. Couldn’t have asked for better weather or better fishing. The guys loaded the boat with blackfish and sea bass, as well as a few cod and scup. Looking forward to doing it again next November!

Jimmy and the boys from Rockaway put a hurting on the blackfish today. We kept our limit and released the rest. They also had some nice sea bass, as well as a nice cod to round out the day.

November 29, 2020 (Full Day)

We squeezed in another trip with Marc and Max today. The togs were not cooperative in the early hours for us, but once we got ‘em chewing, it was easy pickin’. The father and son combo loaded the boat with a limit of blackfish, topped off with a couple of sea bass and cod.

November 28, 2020 (Full Day)

We had Andy, Nick and the boys from “Hook It Up!” fishing club out for some togging today. The fish made us work for them, but the guys did an impressive job of boxing three dozen tog, along with a few sea bass and cod. Great weather made for an outstanding trip. The guys are already in the books for next year’s Thanksgiving Day weekend!

November 21, 2020 (Full Day)

We took an exploratory trip with Tim Schweitzer and crew today. Wanted to try some new bottom we haven’t yet fished this season. The action wasn’t lock and load, but there were some quality fish in the mix. We ended up with our limit of blackfish, a handful of sea bass and a couple of cod. That’s a good day of fishing in our books, not to mention the usual laughs with these guys! Until next summer!

November 15, 2020 (Full Day)

Another stellar trip in the books with Paul “Nice Guy” Galeno. Left early to get in some fishing before the weather moves in. The boys slayed the blackfish with an easy limit and then some, along with a couple of cod. Great day, even if a short one. We’re looking forward to seeing Nice Guy again for his annual July striped bass and fluke trip in 2021.

November 9, 2019 (Full Day)

We had a phenomenal day of tog fishing with George and the boys. The guys kept their limit of 32 blackfish and tossed back at least another dozen keepers, topping off the catch with a nice cod. Awesome day on the water...despite the ice on the deck in the early morning.

On a sunny and chilly morning, 6 men, most wearing hats and sweatshirts, each hold up 2 blackfish, with the filet table in the foreground cover with more whole blackfish.

December 8, 2018

Today’s weather forecast was WRONG!! NW 10-15...I think not. It blew a straight 20-25 all morning. Crappy conditions but tried to ride it out. Took a wave over the bow while on the hook and that was it. Called it a short trip. Really disappointing. Been looking forward to this trip with Firas since we were blown out last month. Not the last trip we hoped for. Had a few togs and a small cod before wrapping it up. Until next year, I guess. Hoping we make it west tonight...
