August 2, 2023 (Trip 1)

It was a breezy morning for Brian and the guys. They caught plenty of bass, then loaded up on sea bass. Action packed morning for sure.

August 1, 2023

It was time for Brian’s annual trip. The bite was on fire, we kept 3 slots, and released countless overs. Then we took a little ride and loaded up on seabass. Plenty of fish for the grill.

It was great to have Mike out with us today. They caught bass of all sizes, keeping two slots. We also had some nice fluke and sea bass to add to the mix. See these boys in two weeks.

Jeff Dunston made his annual summer trip with us today. The early morning conditions were anything but ideal, with a hard north wind following last night’s storm. We couldn’t fish where we wanted to because it was too rough, so we stayed a little closer to home. The action didn’t disappoint, though, and the gang kept the rods bent all day. We started off trolling for striped bass and bluefish, and put a nice catch in the cooler before turning to do some bottom fishing. We ended up with a limit of sea bass, and a nice bunch of jumbo scup.  By the time the trip was over, the wind has subsided, and it was a beautiful ride back to the dock.

We had a blast today with the Tim Schweitzer crew. These guys fish with us multiple times throughout the season. Today we focused on striped bass and sea bass. We put a few slot striped bass in the box in the morning, and then loaded the boat with a limit of sea bass, and a few fluke and scup in the mix. Great trip as always with these boys.

A little family fun in the sun this afternoon for the Thompson family. Caught some decent sea bass, and even found a fluke in the mix. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

July 25, 2023

We had Joe and the boys out for their first trip with us. They put three slot bass in the box quickly, then went bottom fishing. The fluke bite was a bit of a grind, but we still managed to catch 9 nice ones.

July 24, 2023

We had a solid day of fishing for Mike and the gang. They were able to ice up a few slot bass, releasing the overs. Then we caught a nice pile of fluke and seabass, to round out the catch. Enjoy boys!
