We had Sam and her family out with us for their first trip on the November Rain. We spent a short time trying for the striped bass, but were quick to change tactics when the bites were scarce. We kept to the bottom fishing and the group of nine kept the rods bent from start till stop with jumbo porgies and a couple of sea bass mixed in.

Our annual fishing trip with the Tom Kowalski crew proved to be a productive one with the bottom fishing. The striped bass were less than cooperative, but the jumbo scup were plenty full, and the gang went home with over 50 porgies and plenty of food for that night’s dinner. We’ll see these guys again for a tuna trip in a few weeks.

We had Filipe and the boys out for some bass fishing this morning. They kept busy with the over sized fish, and managed a slot for grill. Enjoy guys, see you for our tuna trip.

Today was Alex’s first trip of the season. We didn’t catch any slots this afternoon. They loaded up on sea bass and scup, for fish tacos for dinner. Looking forward to having them out again next week  

It was a great day to go offshore to get our tuna season started. The ocean was alive with life. We saw plenty of whales and porpoises. Marc and the boys went 3/3 on bluefin. Looking forward to seeing these guys again in August.

We had John and the boys out for their first trip of the season. They scored with a limit of slots, then switched over to bottom fishing. It was a bit of a grind, but we managed some for the box. See these guys in a few weeks for a tuna trip.

Mean Matty Lynch returned for his annual bass and bottom fishing trip. The guys had excellent action with a striped bass this morning, boxing their limit of eight slots. We topped that off with a dozen and a half sea bass before the guys called it a day. A great way to spend the morning and they were back to the dock in time for lunch.

We had our annual trip with the Mark Bernstein charter today. The guys look made quick action with the striped bass this morning, packing away their limit of six fish. We topped off the catch with a limit of sea bass and a bonus fluke. We’ll see these boys again next June!
