After making their first blackfish trip with us earlier this fall, Erick and his buddies booked a second trip before the end of the season with us. The morning wind was relentless, and it was a lumpy ride to the tog grounds. But it was well worth it, with instant action as soon as the lines went in the water. We had our limit of blackfish in no time, and continued to catch and release throughout the rest of the trip. It ended up being a beautiful day on the water. 

We had the pleasure of seeing James Daniels and his family again today for their annual blackfish trip. It was lock and load and we had a boat limit of 28 togs by 9 am. We bounced around for a few sea bass afterwards, but didn’t find much quality, so we called it a trip and headed back in before the wind picked up. We’ll see them again next June for the first of their two 2024 trips. 

Mean Matty Lynch and the boys made their annual tog trip today. By 9:30 am, despite the rain, we had a boat limit of blackfish in the box. A lot of small fish in the mix, but plenty of quality to get to our limit. We cut the trip a little short to avoid the wind coming up late morning, so the quick bite was timely today! Until next season, boys! 

We had a solid bite for Jon and the boys today. They caught a nice limit of chunky togs, and a cod to round out the day. Well done fellas! See you guys next season.

We had great weather and even better fishing for Tom and the boys. They had a limit of jumbo sea bass, and even managed to add 3 cod to the mix. Sunny skies and flat calm seas are far and few this time of the year.

We had a stiff chilly breeze for Sean’s crew today. The blackfish didn’t seem to mind a bit. They had an easy boat limit as well as a cod. Nice work!
