Solid bite on the sea bass grounds for Pete and the boys today. Iced a limit of quality fish and a bonus cod for Bobby. Not to mention, the weather was as nice as it comes.

We had a fine day for Erick and the the boys. It was our first tog trip of the year, and the bite didn’t disappoint. There was a decent amount to weed through, but, by days end, we had a boat limit. Great way to start off the blackfish season.

After getting canceled last year due to the weather, first timer, Ralph Gonzalez and his seven buddies spent the day with us today. The fishing started off red hot and continued throughout the day. The boys started off putting eight keeper striped bass in the box, releasing a few others. We spent the second half of the trip, bottom fishing, and put 30 sea bass on ice. The boys are going to eat like kings tonight. Great trip, and hope we’ll get this gang of childhood friends out again next season.

We had the Delamere Construction group out today for their annual trip. They loaded up with seabass, scup and even had a nice cod. Plenty of meat to go around today.

Another hilarious trip was had this morning with Pat and the boys. We had planned for a full day trip, but the weather once again thought otherwise. We chugged out in the early morning and easily put a limit of striped bass on the boat. Within the hour, we had what we needed, released a few others and the boys called the trip.  Not the full day trip we were hoping for, but at least we got some fishing in these less than pleasant conditions.

We had Mike and the boys out for their annual trip. It was a little snappy, but we still filled the coolers. They had 3 bass they were able to keep, as well as a limit of sea bass. Fine work gentleman!
