Rosanne took the "kids" fishing this afternoon and we kept them busy from start to stop. The group of 10 kept the rods bent with jumbo sea bass, fluke and porgies. Great weather, great fishing and great company. Looking forward to seeing this gang again.
Great afternoon bottom fishing for these guys!! Showing off some of the catch here.
First-timers Kevin and Scott fished with us this morning. We quickly scooped up their striped bass and spent the rest of the morning bottom fishing. The fish were a little picky, but we put a nice catch together. Great meeting these guys and hope we'll see them again.
Paul 'Nice Guy' Galeno made the first of his two annual trips with us today. The striped bass bite was a little disappointing, especially compared to prior years, so we switched over to bottom fishing for the latter part of the trip. The guys kept the rods bent adding some nice sea bass to the mix. Looking forward to seeing Paul again this fall!
The full moon bass bite was on fire tonight. Frank and John kept four bass to 43 pounds and released the rest. Hope to have them back out again.
This morning Rick and Sarah came out, and the bass were waiting. They kept two for dinner and released another 6. Great way to start the day!
Playing catch and release with cow bass this morning. Not a bad way to start the day.
Conditions were less than ideal this morning as the wind continues to blow, but Jonathan and the boys had some nice mixed bag action. We started off bass fishing, then finished up with some sea bass and fluke.
The Hope family made their annual trip with us this year and it was another great time. The striped bass were being finicky this morning, but the team managed to put a few in the box. They then hammered the sea bass, easily pulling together the boat limit. Plenty of fish for tonight's BBQ. Looking forward to August 3, 2019!
Chris gets the Hope family spotlight this year!
