James Daniels and his family returned today for their annual striped bass fishing trip. We put an easy limit of bass, as well as 16 bluefish, in the box pretty quickly. And we released a bunch of shorts and overs as well. The fluke bite was pretty slow and didn’t produce much, so we wrapped up early and had the gang back at the dock in time for lunch. We’ll see these guys again in October for a bottom fishing trip.

We had a great day on the water with Mike and his buddies. The bass bite was off the charts, and we had six slots on the boat within 90 minutes of leaving the dock. We switched over to do some bottom fishing when we were done with the bass, and had a mix a fluke and sea bass (which we released since sea bass season is still closed). We’ll see Mike again later this summer for a tuna trip. And then again in the fall for the togs!

What better way to have a bachelor party, than catching a load of striped bass. Imad and the boys caught bass of all sizes, keeping their limit and releasing the rest. Congrats !

Today fishing was as good as it gets for AJ and the boys. We caught bass all morning, easily catching our limit. They also released another 20 or so. A solid morning for sure.

Today was a great day all around. The weather was great, and the fishing was even better. Don and the boys boxed their limit of keepers, and tossed back just as many overs. These guys will be back in August.

The bass were waiting and chewing for Adam and the boys. They caught their limit of slots, and threw back countless over sized fish. Looking forward to see these guys again this fall.

We had the pleasure of fishing with Kenny and Sue of The Montauk Sun today. It’s been a while since we’ve had this duo out with us, but they produced just like their last trip. Despite the fish being a little picky today, they each landed their slot and toss back a number of others. Always great spending time with these two.

We had the pleasure this morning of fishing with Robert and Bobby McBride. The duo returned for another trip with us and this time wanted to target only fluke. The fluke bite really hasn’t gotten hot just yet, and we had a lot of shorts in the mix, but Robert managed to pull a nice one out, weighing in at around 6 1/2 pounds. Awesome time as always with these boys. Looking forward to the next trip.
