Today we had Charlie out for his first trip of the season. They had a little bit of everything, sea bass, scup and some fluke as well. These boys will be back again in a few weeks.

We had City and the Jersey boys out again today. They started with three bushels of scup, then we went bottom fishing. The action stayed steady with a limit of sea bass, and three bonus fluke. Lots of laughs with this crew.

We had a solid morning for John and the boys, for their annual trip. They went home with a nice mix of fluke and sea bass. They’re off to Hither Hills for a BBQ. Thanks guys! 

We had the Manning crew out for their annual summer trip. They kept busy at the rail catching plenty of sea bass, and even managed two keeper fluke. Great way to start the day!  

We had a productive afternoon for Brad and his group. They caught an assortment fish. They had some fluke, sea bass and a few scup. Good way to beat the heat!  

Could not get a better weather day for Ryan and his crew. They stayed busy at the rail keeping their limit of sea bass. Their last summer get together before they go off to school.  

We had the pleasure of having Fazle and his family out today. They wanted to try to find a shark, and that’s what we did. The had some show offshore, seeing whales and porpoises, as well as finding a feisty shark. They’re already talking about their next trip.

We had NRC first-timer Ari and his family and friends out with us this afternoon. Once again, we stuck with the bottom fishing and gave the porgies a try at the start of the trip. We made a few drifts and put a few dozen scup in the box before trying our hand at sea bass fishing. That proved a little bit more challenging, and while there was plenty of action, there weren’t many keepers in the mix. Still, a beautiful day on the water, so can’t really complain!
