The Russell Bohner trio returned for their annual trip this morning and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Perfect weather, great fishing and tons of laughs. The guys boxed their three bass and topped it off with a few bluefish, tossing back handfuls of other fish. Another ideal trip with them!

Another awesome trip with the Wagenhauser family. We decided to keep to bottom fishing this afternoon. Tons, I mean TONS, of sea bass, all of which had to be released since the season isn’t yet open. But the gang managed a few quality fluke for the box as well. Always a great time with these guys. More trips later this season and already in the calendar for 2022!

After not seeing them last year due to the pandemic, it was even sweeter fishing with Josh and Lauren, along with sister Jen and little 3-year old Charlie (who has gotten so big since we last saw him!). We had immediate action with striped bass and bluefish. A number of the bass were too big. Some too small. And some went right in the box for dinner. Awesome morning of fishing and great seeing them all again.

No fish pics, but we got some of Charlie!

We had Tom out this morning for his first trip of the season. The boys had good action catching  bass, some too big and some just right. Always fun with this group, we’ll see them again next month.

It was a beautiful for day for Nicks second trip of the week. The skies were clear and the bass cooperated as well. We kept 4 slots and also had a bunch of overs.

June 9, 2021 (AM)

Mike and the boys had a great morning of fishing. We had bass to 40 pounds, as well as 4 perfect sized slot bass. Solid action from start to finish.

June 8, 2021 (PM)

We had Nick out this afternoon for one of his trips this week. There were plenty of big sea bass around, the season can’t open fast enough. We’ll see them again Thursday morning!

The bass were chewing in the fog for Ben and his dad. They caught some too big, some too small and one that was just right. Looking forward to seeing them again.
