The boat was loaded this morning with Mahmood and his boys, and their friends, and their friends' dads! Full crew, and they did a great job of keeping the rods bent, from start til stop. Hoping to see them again later this summer for some striped bass and sea bass action. Thank you, guys!

Fished today with James and the boys. Despite the ocean being rough following earlier weather, the boys still managed to put some fish in the box. Looking forward to seeing them again later this summer.
The boys put a hurtin’ on the fluke today. Nicely done, gents!
Alvin and crew made their first trip with NRC and while the action is not yet red hot, the boys kept busy all day. The ocean was still a little churned up from the weekend’s weather, but the gang managed to put a few nice fluke in he box for dinner, while also releasing some others to swim another day. We hope to see them later this summer for the striped bass and sea bass action.
First trip of our season is in the books. We had the pleasure of meeting Ron Martin at the saltwater expo in NJ a few months back and today we took he and the boys fishing. The weather wasn't great and the fish were being picky, but we managed to put some meat in the box, including a 7.5 lb flatty. Looking forward to seeing them again on July 8th.
Seems like this trip was a lifetime ago, on the way east to start this season. Tonight, weather permitting, we'll be heading back west. Still some great Montauk fishing, but given other upcoming commitments, we're going to wrap up in Montauk and bring the boat to Woodmere, where we'll ultimately pull it for the winter.
Keeping an eye on the weather and hoping to leave Westlake at around 11:00 pm tonight. Small weather window, not to mention we need high tide to get through the harbor back west. Hope to be pulling in just as the sun rises tomorrow.
All of that said, WE'RE NOT DONE FISHING! We'll remain available for charters from Woodmere/Hewlett, so don't hesitate to give us a call, text or email. Will be fishing some of our old stomping grounds!
Many thanks to everyone who fished with us in Montauk this year. It was a pleasure and we genuinely appreciate your business and hope we'll see you again in 2018. The countdown begins...
