Other than a minor mechanical snafu that delayed our morning, it was another great day on the water with John, Mike, Kenny, John and Sean. The striped bass were being very picky this morning and after putting just a few in the box, we decided to head south for some bottom fishing, which paid off handsomely with over two dozen sea bass and another dozen scup. Awesome Sunday. And thanks to John and Mike for their help this morning! ;) Awesome guys!
A great afternoon bottom fishing with this crew!
Paul Galeno, aka Nice Guy, sailed his second of two annual trips with us today and the action lived up to expectations. The crew of 9 effortlessly put their limit of striped bass in the box before filling a tote with sea bass, scup and triggers. Couldn't have asked for a better trip, which I'm sure was due to Paul's dad watching over us today.

We sailed today we Steve Dubon and his boys. The guys had great fishing keeping their limit of bass to 30 pounds. Then we switched gears and went bottom fishing and had two dozen sea bass to round out the day.
We had the boys from Allied out for their annual trip. The guys had a blast this afternoon catching bass as well some albacore on light tackle. Sorry no pics today.
We sailed with first-timers Jameson and his buddies, who were all visiting from school in Alabama. Conditions weren't great, but we had some action early on while trolling. After a short time we decided to head for calmer waters and the guys finished out the trip bottom fishing, putting together a nice catch for dinner. Hope we get them out again during their next visit.
Not the calmest of afternoons, but these first-timers kept busy bottom fishing.
We had Kevin and the boys out for their annual trip. The guys had action all day with bass and a pile of sea bass up to 4 pounds. Always lots of laughs with this crew.
Kevin and the boys made the second of their two annual trips today and although the weather could have been more cooperative, the fishing was phenomenal. We quickly put 10 striped bass in the boat, followed by around two dozen black sea bass. Awesome day with the guys, as always. Until next year!.
We had Allied group out again for their annual tournament. Once the tide got going it was two and three on all morning. The fishing remains solid. Looking forward to seeing the group next year.
Great morning for the Allied team who boxed their limit and released a few others.
