We had a chance to get Jeff out again this season, and the bite was red hot. They started out catching plenty of bass, keeping only their limit. Then loaded up on sea bass too. Might see them one more time for a tog trip.

Nick and the boys cashed in on an insane striped bass bite this morning. We landed our limit of 7 fish within 45 minutes and then headed east for some bottom fishing. We had wind against tide which made for a pretty rolly drift, but the guys stuck with it and put away a nice catch or sea bass and scup.

Ed and the USCG boys sailed their annual trip with us today and while the forecast was just a tad bit off, the early morning rain and wind didn’t slow them down. The guys hammered the striped bass in the early hours of the day and topped off the catch with three dozen sea bass and a handful of jumbo scup. Couldn’t ask for more. Already in the book for next October 8!

We had the Radesky team out with us again for a great day of fishing. They caught some bass quick, then iced up some sea bass. Always a fun trip with these two. Till next summer!

October 6, 2022 (Trip 2)

Rebecca and her family came from Nevada for some Montauk fishing. They caught slot bass, oversized bass, as well as some seabass. The best part was, the ocean was flat and the sun was out.

October 6, 2022 (Trip 1)

After getting blown for their first trip, we were able to get Brian and the boys out. They had good action with bass of all sizes. We iced up our slots and tossed back plenty of oversized fish as well. Till next season guys.

September 27, 2022

The wind stopped and we were able to get Mike and his family out. We kept 4 slot bass and released countless over sized ones. They also squeezed in a little bottom fishing, catching some sea bass.

After being tied to the dock for the last few days due to the wind, we took a chance with Mike and the boys this morning. Although the wind was still blowing, the fishing more than made up for it. Mike and crew landed six slot striped bass, and released at least half a dozen oversized fish as well. They added about a dozen bluefish to the mix as well for the smoker. Another great trip with these guys, and we look forward to seeing them again next September.
