July 13, 2023 (Trip 2)

This afternoon we had Marian out for her yearly trip. They were fortunate enough to catch two slots, releasing the rest to swim another day. They also spent a little time bottom fishing, catching a few sea bass and scup. Nice little afternoon.

July 13, 2023 (Trip 1)

Today we had some long time customers on the boat. Phil and the gang caught plenty of striped bass, luckily catching two slots. After that, we iced up some tasty sea bass. See these guys again next month.

It was a beautiful day for Tim’s first trip of the season. They caught some bass, none were in the slot size though. Next was a limit of sea bass, then we iced up a few fluke as well. See these boys in a few weeks.

July 11, 2023

We had the pleasure of having the Kern boys out with us again. They caught a few bass, that were too big. Next, we loaded them up with some fine sea bass. Enjoy the summer guys.

July 10, 2023

We had Ed and the boys out in some rough weather today. With the conditions we had, they were able to ice up a limit of seabass, and decided to head in a little early. Till next summer.

July 9, 2023

We had the pleasure of fishing with Jamie McGarvey and his group today. Jamie is a huge fan of striped bass fishing, and so we spent most of the day focused on bass. We had tons of oversized fish, up to around 45 inches, but not as many slots. Still, the guys had a blast, catching and releasing slob striped bass. We put a couple of slots in the box before heading to the bottom fishing grounds for sea bass and fluke.

July 8, 2023

John Renner and the boys made their annual trip with us today, bass and bottom fishing. The guys put away their limit of striped bass to start, followed by a limit of sea bass and a few nice-looking fluke. A great trip, as always, and we’re looking forward to seeing them next July.

July 7, 2023

We had our second Wagenhauser trip of the season. They caught bass after bass, only finding 2 slots. Next we went bottom fishing and had a dozen fluke to 6 pounds, with a pile of sea bass. See these guys in the fall.
