The Jefferson's Ferry crew sailed with us again this morning and they did not disappoint. We steamed offshore and had lines in around 8:00. We had pup whippy swimming around the boat immediately, but then he left. Then a mystery bite which we busted off in less than 5 seconds. And then, we hooked into our thresher. The fish took the deep bait and put on quite an aerial show. Everyone had a chance on the rod. The fish was green and not surrendering easily. But we got it up and ultimately into the boat. The fish weighed in at 175 lbs. Not bad at all! Another GREAT trip with these guys! Nicely done, everyone!!

This afternoon we sailed with the Schreck family. The bass fishing seemed a little slow, so we went bottom fishing. The boys had some good action catching sea bass as well as fluke.

Even the smallest of anglers caught fish this afternoon.

We fished today with Michael Armilio and crew. With some younger anglers, we started out bottom fishing. After catching enough sea bass and porgies, it was time to try to catch a bass for dinner. After about 20 minutes we had two bass up to 30 pounds, so we headed home. Beautiful morning with good fishing.

We fished today with Michael Johnson and crew. The bass fishing seemed a little slow, so we took a ride to Block Island. The boys had non-stop action catching over 50 jumbo sea bass. We also had some fluke in the mix. Good fishing today aboard the November Rain.

We fished this morning with Freddy Jr. Unfortunately, his father, who was scheduled to fish with us as well, couldn't make it. The bite started early, and we caught our limit of striped bass in the thick fog. After bass fishing we switched gears and also caught a dozen nice sea bass. We had a really great morning and are looking forward to getting them all back out.
