We fished this morning with Freddy Jr. Unfortunately, his father, who was scheduled to fish with us as well, couldn't make it. The bite started early, and we caught our limit of striped bass in the thick fog. After bass fishing we switched gears and also caught a dozen nice sea bass. We had a really great morning and are looking forward to getting them all back out.

Great morning aboard the November Rain.

Last weekend, we fished with my mom. This afternoon, we fished with my dad. As always, tons for fun, albeit without any monster bass. The bite was quiet to start, so we decided to spend much of the afternoon bottom fishing. Plenty of fish to go around, with keeper sea bass and scup in the mix. Had a great time with Dad, Debbie, Gene, Barbara, Joanne and Dennis, including a great dinner at Sali's. Oh, and Happy Belated Birthday to my dad!!!

Brian Leshaw & the crew from Gettysburg College fished with us this morning. Fishing wasn't all the spectacular, though the laughs were plentiful. Not much of a bite on the eels, so we trolled chutes. Plenty of fish but you've got to weed through the shorts (and bluefish!) to find the keepers. These guys kept at it though and went home with plenty of fish for dinner. Here's the gang posing with one of their bass. We had a great time with these first-timers and hope to see them again next summer!

Rather than pulling wire, we decided to try our luck bottom fishing. We hit a few pieces of bottom and although there were plenty of shorts in the mix, we managed some nice sea bass as well as fluke to fill the box. Not a bad day at all. Here's a quick pick of the guys with some of their catch. Hoping we'll see them all again.

Fished today with Mike Penna and his crew. We spent a good part of the day bottom fishing. By day's end, we had close to 50 jumbo sea bass as well as some scup. Great day on the water.

We fished today with Harry Simino and crew. We spent most of the afternoon catching jumbo sea bass. We fished for striped bass for a little while and kept the rods bent with some bluefish. Looking forward to having them back out with us again.
