Had a beautiful morning on the water today with Janna Bullock and gang The group of 14 wanted to head out for bass, so we gave it a try. Had decent action on the umbrella rigs. Lots of bluefish with a mix of bass...albeit many were shorts! Hope to have them sail with us again!

Today we had first-timer Christopher Hill and his gang. With the bottom fishing remaining red hot, we knew exactly what we'd be doing for the morning. The crew had non-stop action with big scup and jumbo sea bass. A good time was had by all. Looking forward to getting them back out again.

Had the pleasure of fishing with Kevin Braun and the boys again today. Decided to make a pass with the chutes, which paid off immediately with two nice bass. Not much after that, but we'll take the two! Then we switched over to do some bottom fishing and loaded the boat with scup. And then tried for the fluke and put a few nice flatties in the box as well. Great day as always with this crew. Looking forward to seeing them again this fall!

Spent the afternoon on the water with Harwood Birthday group. Was hoping to put the boys on some striped bass, but that's been a challenge these last couple of weeks. They're out there, but you've got to put your time in. We decided to make a few passes for fluke -- good action but lots of shorts. Then switched over for the scup and, not surprisingly, had the rods bent immediately. A beautiful afternoon on the water with great guys. Hope they enjoy dinner!

We fished with Billy Silver and his buddies today and trolled for a little while until we lost the tide. Then switched over for fluke. Ended up with some nice fish up to 5 lbs + tons of sea bass. Sea bass season finally opens on Monday and we should see some continued great fishing on that front.
