Just added some photos to the album from this afternoon's trip with the SprintingWithTheShaps.com group. The group of 17 ranged in age from 1 through 90 and everyone caught fish! An absolutely beautiful afternoon on the water and some great people! And for those who recall last year's "Norwegian Rain" shoutout, Larry the Duck promised to redeem himself this year. Another beautiful morning on the water. The fish continue to be stubborn, that sometimes that makes it all the more fun! :) Spent some time trolling and had a few bluefish. Then switched over and had a few fluke and sea bass (which, again, go right back in the water!). Then back inshore for some scup, which was lock-n-load. Had a great time with these NR first-timers. Hope they enjoy their Father's Day Seafood BBQ this afternoon.

Headed back out for an afternoon fluke trip with Steve, Sean, Gerard and Mike. Once again, a sh*tload of sea bass, but you had to search for the fluke today. The guys did it, though, and put some nice fish, up to 7 lbs, in the box. Tons of laughs helped make for a great afternoon.

We had the pleasure of sailing with Chong and his buddies this morning. Pulled wire for a short time but decided to switch over for some fluke given yesterday's action. The fish weren't jumping in the boat, but they were there and were mostly keepers. Tons of sea bass. Hate tossing them back! The guys feasted on sashimi and sake (and Coors Light!) all morning. Nice! A great trip with these first timers and we look forward to seeing them again.

Today we fished with Kevin and his crew. We trolled for about a half hour and had some bluefish. With the fluke bite being red hot, we switched gears quickly. We ended up with close to 20 fish, up to 8 pounds, and also had a few big ling in the mix. A great day with a great group of guys.
