It was great to have James and the boys out again. They kept their 7 slots, released some over sized ones as well. Then we iced up a bushel of nice scup to round out the day.

It was a foggy morning for Jon and the boys. The bass didn’t seem to mind, though. We had 5 slots, a bunch of overs, and a few bluefish for the smoker. Great morning!

We had the honor of again fishing with the family of Captain Timothy Murray for the second annual memorial trip. It was a morning of phenomenal fishing and the gang had a blast with non-stop striped bass action.  They took 6 slots and tossed back countless over sized bass.

We had the pleasure of fishing with Chris and his crew of 9 family and friends today. The conditions were perfect. We fished the ebb for a limit of striped bass and a handful of shorts and overs, as well as a dozen or so bluefish. And we wrapped up the afternoon loading the boat with jumbo scup. Plenty of fillets for the dinner table tonight!

We had an absolutely bang up trip with Peter Wagenhauser and his family. Once again, their annual June trip resulted in a boatload of striped bass. We put eight slots in the box and we released just as many oversized slobs. Not to mention at least 15 bluefish for the smoker. Couldn’t have asked for a better day of weather and fishing. Will see Pete and the boys next month for their annual summer trip with us as well, to be followed by their fall bottom fishing trip!

We had the pleasure of fishing with Alex and his crew today. The striped bass fishing was pretty good, and the boys put together a nice catch. They kept only three slots, just enough for dinner, and released everything else, including a few other striped bass and bluefish. Great way to start a Saturday morning! 

We had great weather and great fishing for the U.S. Boiler, Ferguson group. They had 6 slots, a few overs, and bluefish for the smoker. Perfect afternoon for these gentlemen.

It was a fine morning of fishing for John and the boys. They caught big ones, little ones, and 6 nice slots for the table. Enjoy the fish. See you guys in the fall.
