July 25, 2024 (Trip 1)

Evelyn had the hot hand this morning, fishing with Nick and gang. They had good action with sea bass and a few blues for the grill. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

July 24, 2024

Bill and Jonah had a busy afternoon catching sea bass. We didn’t have the best weather, so we played safe and stayed close. They had non-stop action anyway.

July 23, 2024

We were able to get Trish and her group out this afternoon, before the rain. They caught a nice pile of sea bass for dinner. Then we headed in a little early. Looking forward to having them out again in August.

July 22, 2024

Joe and the boys were out for their second trip this season. They worked hard and put a nice catch of fluke together. We also had some nice sea bass in the mix. They’ll be back one more time in August.

Today was Vinny’s annual fishing trip with us. The guys had planned for a striped bass and bottom fishing trip, but the bass had other plans. They were extremely uncooperative, and we only spent a short time on the troll. Instead, we focused on the bottom fishing. We had over a limit of keeper sized sea bass, tossing back plenty of fish to the ocean while still packing the cooler. We also managed a couple of quality fluke to top off the catch. Not the day we had planned, but still a productive time on the ocean.

July 20, 2024 (Trip 2)

We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of bottom fishing with Robert and Bobby McBride. The duo wanted to come out and catch a few fish for dinner, and that’s exactly what we did. The fish were a little pickier than this morning, but we were easily able to put a dozen sea biscuits in the box for them. We were hoping for a couple of fluke to be mixed in, but it wasn’t meant for us this afternoon!

July 20, 2024 (Trip 1)

We had a great morning with Andrea, Chris, Julie and Dan. The striped bass were not very cooperative, but the sea bass were plentiful. The gang put an easy limit of sea biscuits in the box for dinner this evening. Always a great trip with these guys. Until next summer!

July 19, 2024

We took a chance today on a nice steam offshore and it paid off handsomely. Mike and the guys had great action on the tuna grounds, going 6 for 7. They iced up 3 bluefin and released the others.
