October 20, 2019 (Full Day)

Another awesome trip with Pete, George and crew. We took the boys black fishing and it paid off nicely with an easy limit of tog and and a few jumbo sea bass. First tog trip of the season and we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

On an over cast, cloudy day, 6 men wearing fall attire, and some wearing orange fishing waders, each hold up 2 sea bass with more laid out in front of them on the filet table.

A man wearing orange fishing waders (overalls) holds up a tautog (blackfish) in each hand.

On a cloudy fall day, a man wearing sunglasses holds up the sea bass he caught while a man in the background fishing looks over.

On a chilly, cloudy fall day, with the sun peeking through, a man holds out a tautog (blackfish) with both hands for the camera.

Had a great Saturday with Ed Anderson and the USCG boys. Tons of laughs and fish, as always. The striped bass were being a little picky, so we decided to spend most of the trip bottom fishing. That decision paid off nicely and the boys went home with over three dozen sea bass. Looking forward to doing it again next fall!

On a windy, sunny day with few clouds, 6 men wearing fall attired each hold up two sea bass.

The conditions were far from ideal for Ray and the boys. The fish chewed and we had our limit early and headed back before the conditions got worse.

On a sunny day with light clouds, 5 men wearing winter attired each hold up a striped bass.

Three men on the boat on the water each hold up 2 sea bass and smile.

We had Daran and the guys out for some nautical conditions this morning. We spent the day hiding behind Block Island catching some nice sea bass, in calmer waters.

Frank and the boys fished with us today and the action didn’t disappoint. A limit of striped bass with an hour and a bunch of sea bass to follow. Can’t ask for a better day.

First-timer Mike and his brothers and other family spent this morning with us. We had strong SW wind against an ebb tide which made for sloppy conditions. The guys stuck at it though and kept busy putting bass on the boat. Had to fish through the little ones, but there were some decent striped bass to be caught. Hope we’ll have the pleasure of fishing with them again next year.

With the sun shining on the water and the sky clear blue, four men of varying ages smile and each hold up striped bass .
