Our group this morning ended up putting the trip off given the weather forecast. However, we made it out this afternoon and it was well worth the ride. Much calmer than the last couple of days. Started out bottom fishing, which was a little slow given the blow. Came back inshore and the bass were hungry. Fished the bait and had our five bass within a few drifts. Not too shabby!

Today we had Bob Mosely out and his crew, and for the second time we fished in less than ideal conditions. I have to say these guys where tough as nails and stuck it out. We had good action with bass and bluefish. Look forward to seeing them again next season. Hopefully when they come back they won't bring the wind again...

We had a hardy crew today!

First drift saw a nice 30+ lb bass. After that, no so much! We had decent action all afternoon, with a few more bass, though some of those were shorts. Tons of big blue fish as well, some of which we kept. Great trip with Chris O'Connell and these NOVEMBER RAIN first-timers!

Gary and his crew sailed with us last night. Given that bass fishing hasn't been great, we started off bottom fishing, which again proved to be quite successful. However, here's Gary with a bass that we caught after sunset. Nicely done!!

Scott Little & crew back out on the November Rain! The bass bite pretty much just sucked. But we spent the better part of late morning/early afternoon bottom fishing and had no problem finding a limit of sea bass, along with another dozen or so porgs. Here are just a few! Not too shabby boys!
