Mean Matty Lynch returned for his annual summer trip with us today. The group of nine kept busy with bass all trip. The weather forecast couldn’t have been more wrong. It was breezy, but that didn’t come close to stopping these guys. We struggled to get a limit of slots and kept only 5, but we must have released at least two dozen overs, with a few shorts in the mix. Ridiculous fishing! See them again for the togs this fall!

Tommy Bender and his buddies came out for their annual shark fishing trip with us today. We made a steam down south, and it paid off nicely. Lots of life, including whales, porpoises, as well as a few sharks. We fought a brown shark and a mako shark, and had a hammerhead and 2 more mako swimming around the boat throughout the day. Great conditions and awesome time with these guys as usual.

Daran and the gang were out for their annual trip, and they loaded up. We had great bass action keeping 9 slots, and releasing the bigger ones. They also had some time to throw a few fluke in the box as well.

June 20, 2024 (Trip 1)

We had the pleasure of having Marc out for their first trip of the season. They had non-stop bass fishing, keeping an easy limit, and tossing back too many to count. Just to round it out, we put a few fluke in the boat as well. See these boys next month.

June 19, 2024

Jason and the boys decided to make a quick last minute trip, and were rewarded nicely. They kept two slots, and released a few others, before deciding to head in early.

Chris and the guys wanted to take a shot at some tuna, and it was a wise choice. We had a solid day on the tuna grounds. They went 4 for 6 on bluefin, keeping three for the grill. Sweet !!

It’s been a few years, but Kasey and Henry Perkins returned for a fishing trip with us this morning. This time they brought their 2 1/2 year old son, little Henry, and 9-month old daughter Paige. The conditions were anything but ideal, with stronger than expected winds and a lumpy ocean. But the family stuck with it, catching and releasing a number of striped bass. Will hope for a nicer day next year!

June 15, 2024 (Trip 2)

Once again, we had Pete Wagenhauser and family out for their summer fishing trip with us. The bass bite was again incredible, just like this morning. There seemed to be fewer slot fish in the mix, but the rods stayed bent with overs as well as a couple of shorts throughout the entire trip. Always a blast with these guys. We’re looking forward to seeing some of them again later in the season.
