It’s been a few years, but Kasey and Henry Perkins returned for a fishing trip with us this morning. This time they brought their 2 1/2 year old son, little Henry, and 9-month old daughter Paige. The conditions were anything but ideal, with stronger than expected winds and a lumpy ocean. But the family stuck with it, catching and releasing a number of striped bass. Will hope for a nicer day next year!

June 15, 2024 (Trip 2)

Once again, we had Pete Wagenhauser and family out for their summer fishing trip with us. The bass bite was again incredible, just like this morning. There seemed to be fewer slot fish in the mix, but the rods stayed bent with overs as well as a couple of shorts throughout the entire trip. Always a blast with these guys. We’re looking forward to seeing some of them again later in the season.

We had a phenomenal with Nick and his boys. The striped bass bite was insane, and the fish chewed right through slack tide. The guys boxed their limit of five fish with ease, tossing back numerous overs. It really doesn’t get much better than this. Hope we see them again sometime soon.

The boys had a killer day for Drew’s bachelor party. They had their limit of bass, and caught some real bruisers as well. Congrats buddy!

We had to cancel John’s trip from last week, and was able to get them out today. They had solid bass fishing, keeping their limit, and tossing back plenty of over sized fish as well. Then we switched over to bottom fishing, catching four fluke for the box. We’ll see this crew again next month.

We had Alex and the boys out for their annual trip. The bite was as good as it gets. They caught a quick limit of slots. Then we tried our luck with fluke, which was on the slow side. Enjoy the rest of you stay guys.

Had the pleasure of being part of the 3rd annual Tim Murray trip. We were able to get 6 slots, and released the rest. It was a great outing.

June 9, 2024

Joe and the boys came out for their first trip with us this season. We started off with diamond jigs and put a bass and some bluefish in the box. We switched over to the rigs, and put another six bass away. We tried our luck at fluking, but the weather took a turn with rain and wind, and we decided to wrap up the trip a little early. We’ll see Joe again in a few weeks. Great time with these guys as always!
