Yet another trip with the guys from Jefferson's Ferry. Chris Adamo and the boys spent this morning on the NOVEMBER RAIN. Quite a difference from last Saturday. We got out for the end of the Flood, which didn't produce much other than bluefish. But once the Ebb got going, we kept the rods bent with bass -- shorts and keepers. Great weather with a great group of guys. Hoping to see Chris again this season...maybe for a little sharkin!

We fished this weekend with the Jefferson's Ferry crew and managed to get in two of the three trips that the gang booked. Fishing on Saturday afternoon wasn't impressive. We struggled with the bass and decided to spend much of the trip fluking instead, which produced some nice flatties. Sunday morning was a blowout and that trip will be rescheduled. However, the afternoon turned out to be absolutely beautiful. We were one of the only boats to sail in the afternoon and the ocean was empty. We had some better luck with a few bass. It wasn't a slaughter by any means, but the rods were bent much of the afternoon with a mix of bass and lots of bluefish. Overall, two fun days with the JF crew. Looking forward to seeing them again later this season!

2015 Blessing of the Fleet in Montauk, NY.
We finally sailed our first trip this past weekend and had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Sergey and Anastasia, who were out celebrating their wedding anniversary.Fishing wasn't great, but we managed to bend the rods. Started out pulling wire for the bass and then switched over for fluke. Not a banner day, but the two put some fish in the box. It was a great afternoon to be on the water. Hope to get them out again with their kids some time.
