Today we sailed with Mike Braun and the guys. A sloppy start to the morning, with strong winds and high seas. But the crew stuck it out and we landed a mix of striped bass, bluefish and sea bass throughout the day. Great having these guys out with us. Will hope for better conditions next year!

Just added some pics to the album. Had Gregor and crew out this afternoon for a few hours of fun in the sun...then fog...then clouds. Wanted to focus on bottom fishing, so we ran to the point to first land a bass or two. After one bass, the guys were ready to switch. As has been the normal, bottom fishing was great. A few more shorts in the mix than this morning, but the gang's going home with a couple of dozen fish for this weekend's dinner. A great afternoon with these first-timers! Hope to see them again!

Spent the morning with Bucky "Budweiser" and the boys and had non-stop action and laughs, as usual with these guys. Spent the first hour or so catching striped bass. No slobs today, but good eatin' fish! Then switched over for some bottom fishing, which paid off handsomely with an abundance of sea bass. What better way to start the weekend than catching fish on the NOVEMBER RAIN!
The slob bass were dormant today, but the guys still managed to put a few keepers in the box.

This afternoon we had Jerry Caruso and the gang out for a little fun in the sun. It felt great to be back on the water again. We trolled for a little while catching only bluefish, so we switched over to sea bass fishing. They where hungry and must have been waiting for us. It was a great bite with quality fish and numerous double headers.

Spent the morning bottom fishing with Chris Adamo and the boys. As usual with these guys, the action did not disappoint. We had an abundance of sea bass and porgies. Also had an extra special treat today -- my cousin Claudia and hubby John joined in on the fun for their first fishing trip. A great way to spend the morning before the stormy weather moves in!

Fished with John and family today. Since we had kiddies on the boat, we decided to do some bottom fishing. Good call, as the kids (and mom and dad) stayed busy swinging sea bass and scup over the rail. Great time with these first-timers. Hope we'll see them again!
